More romantic restaurants in Bora Bora's resorts

Many of Bora Bora's most memorable dinners happen inside the resorts. If you're staying elsewhere, ask whether the restaurant accepts outside reservations and how the boat transfer works. These are the venues we confirmed on the resorts' own pages:

  • Vaimiti (Four Seasons): an overwater restaurant serving eclectic Asian cuisine and sunset cocktails.
  • Arii Moana (Four Seasons): a casually elegant waterside restaurant serving Mediterranean classics.
  • Lagoon Restaurant (St. Regis): suspended over the water with Mount Otemanu across the lagoon. It's seafood-focused and smart casual, and it serves dinner on set nights each week, so check before you plan around it.
  • 727 Bar (St. Regis): pre-dinner cocktails and tapas on a terrace known for sunset views toward Otemanu. It's a good start to the evening before the Lagoon Restaurant or Farniente, the resort's Italian restaurant.
  • Noa Noa (InterContinental Le Moana): the main restaurant at Matira Point, serving French-inspired dishes and local specialties nightly.
  • Otemanu (Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts): the resort's restaurant on Motu Tevairoa, included in some half-board packages.

For an independent table on the main island, La Villa Mahana is still the reservation couples chase. It's closed on Sundays, so plan around that.

Private dinners in Bora Bora: beach, motu and bungalow deck

If a restaurant still feels too public, the resorts will set a table just for two. Options listed on official resort pages for 2026 include:

  • Four Seasons: an Exclusive Beach Dinner, a Private Dinner on the Motu, a Sunset Cruise and Romantic Dinner, and a Champagne and Caviar Sundown Celebration.
  • St. Regis: candlelight dinners on Spa Beach or Main Beach, or in your villa.
  • Conrad Bora Bora Nui: romantic beach dinners, a private dinner setting the resort names for Mount Otemanu, and picnics on Motu Tapu.
  • InterContinental Le Moana: private dinners on the beachfront or at the end of your bungalow's pontoon, arranged on request.

Prices aren't published and depend on the menu, wine and setting, so ask the concierge for a quote and book as soon as you know your dates. Have a backup night ready too, since beach dinners depend on the weather.

Canoe breakfast and other romantic meals

The classic Bora Bora morning is breakfast delivered by outrigger canoe to your overwater deck. The Four Seasons, St. Regis and Le Moana all offer it. Le Moana asks for at least 24 hours' notice. The Four Seasons and Conrad also offer floating breakfasts.

Tips for a romantic dinner in Bora Bora

  • Ask for a table near the water when you reserve, and book the earliest seating if you want to catch the last light.
  • Bring a light layer and insect repellent for beach dinners.
  • Resort restaurants rotate their closing days, so confirm the night you want.
