Eating out in Bora Bora ranges from an intimate set-menu dinner at La Villa Mahana to grilled fish from a roulotte (food truck) in Vaitape. Most of the island's restaurants sit along the west and south coast between Vaitape and Matira Point; if you're staying at a motu resort, factor in the boat shuttle (and its schedule) before booking a table off-property. Many independent restaurants close one or two days a week and some take cash only, so call ahead.

Every listing below was checked in October 2026. The famous Bloody Mary's has been closed since November 2023 while its new hotel is built. For dishes to try and typical costs, see our Bora Bora dining guide and romantic dining picks.
